Thousands of students are drawn to government bank examinations every year. There are few jobs in the banking sector, and the competition is fierce, so a bank exam isn't exactly a cakewalk.
As a distinguishing feature of these positions, they are open to people of any educational level. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, basic computer literacy, aptitude, and a general knowledge of the banking industry in order to be considered for the position.
There are ten government bank jobs to consider if you are looking for a safe and honest place to work.
Grade B of the RBI Exam
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts this test for positions in the departments of Direct Recruitment, General Cadre, Economic Policy and Research, and Statistics and Information Management, all of which are entry-level managerial positions.
The preliminary exam will most likely take place in June, with the main exam taking place in the final week of July at the latest.. It is available on the official website and includes exam patterns, schedules, eligibility requirements, and more.
The Phase I exam is designed to measure general awareness, aptitude, English proficiency, and reasoning.. Economics and Social Issues, English, and Finance and Management are all part of Phase II (Main).
Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30 and must have a degree in one of the three subjects in order to apply.

Assistants to the RBI
Selection for the position of Assistant in the various branches of the RBI is carried out on a city-by-city basis.
Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28 and have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.
A Language Proficiency Test is the final stage of the online exam, which is divided into two parts: Preliminary and Mains (LPT).
There are two exams: one preliminary, which assesses reasoning, numerical aptitude, and English language proficiency, for a total of 100 points, and one main, for a total of 200 points.
3) The SBI PO
The State Bank of India (SBI) begins accepting applications for Probationary Officers in April each year (PO).
Preliminary, main, and interview rounds (group discussion and/or personal interview) make up the test.
Candidates' aptitude, reasoning, English, and general economic/bank knowledge will be tested in both the Prelims and the Mains through objective-type questions.
Anyone who graduated from a university or government-recognized institute in any discipline is eligible to apply. Candidates under the age of 21 and over the age of 30 are not eligible.

SO 4) of SBI
Specialist Officer (SO) posts like Chief Technology Officer, Data Trainer, Bank Medical Officer, Manager Analyst, Risk and Compliance Officer, and Relationship Manager are all eligible for online examinations conducted by SBI.
Graduates are welcome to apply for the position, but those with an MA or PhD will be given preference.
There are three stages to the selection process:
Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be administered via computer-based testing.
Contractual employees will be prioritised in the selection process.
Interview
Candidates are tested on their English language proficiency, reasoning, and aptitude in paper 1 of the exam. Paper 2 focuses on professional knowledge.
Paper 1 of the SBI exam consists of 170 multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 135 minutes.
The minimum and maximum ages for various positions are subject to change. There is a maximum age limit of 62.
Five) IBPS PO
All public sector banks, with the exception of SBI and Regional Rural Banks, except for IBPS, have a three-part examination for the position of Probationary Officer (PO).
The tentative dates suggest that the online exams will take place in India in October.
The preliminary examination is the first step in the selection process, which is followed by the main examination and an interview.
The candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of banking tasks, including clerical duties, as well as other bank administration duties.

6) The IBPS SO
The IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) is designed to fill a variety of positions in public sector banks in India, including Rajbhasha Adhikari, Marketing Officer, Law Officer, IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, and HR/Personnel Officer.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is the minimum requirement for employment. The candidate's major should have some connection to the position for which they are applying. A candidate for the position of Law Officer, for example, must hold a law degree. Because the test is given online, candidates must be familiar with the use of computers.
Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28.
IBPS RRB 7)
These positions are available in rural regional banks, and candidates must pass this test in order to be considered (RRB).
To become an officer I or an office assistant, candidates must pass three exams: a preliminarily graded exam, a main examination, and an interview. When it comes to Officer II and III, there is only one test.
According to the announcement, 52 gramin banks across the country will have nearly 18,000 open positions.

8) Clerk of the Bank of India
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required for this position. They can't be older than 28 years old at the most.
A basic understanding of computers is required for clerks, as the examination is also conducted online. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in the official language of the state or union territory from which they are applying.
Customer service, document verification, customer guidance, passbook updating, and other responsibilities are all part of the IBPS clerk's job description.

Nabard (sic) (Grade A & B Officer)
Grade A and B officers are tested online by the National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) every year.
In the Rural Development Banking Service, Grade A officers are Assistant Managers, while Grade B officers hold managerial positions (RDBS).
Preliminary, Mains, and Interview are the three stages of the exam for both positions.
Candidates for the Grade B position must hold a bachelor's degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of at least 60 percent. Applicants must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Candidates for Grade A must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% of their coursework completed. Applicants must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Asst. Director of NABARD
Candidate for the NABARD Development Assistant exam must be able to perform clerical duties without having to interact with the general public.
The candidate must be a college graduate with at least a 50% GPA and be between the ages of 18 and 35.
There will be two parts to the test: preliminary and main.
One hour is allotted for the Preliminary online examination, which includes 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering a variety of topics, including numerical ability (30), language proficiency (40), and reasoning (30).
Mains is a 200-question exam that measures general knowledge, computer skills, and more.
The Language Proficiency Test will not be required of those who pass both papers and produce their Class 10/12 mark sheet/certificate indicating official language as one of the subjects (LPT).
Others will be tested following the release of the Main examination results. It will be conducted in the official language of the state in which the test is taking place.
