How to prepare current affairs for TNPSC

To fill positions such as Special Assistant in the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department and Assistant Inspector of Labor in the Labour Department, the TNPSC administers exams in Group 2. Many people aspire to work in these positions. In general, this exam is not difficult to pass if the right preparation techniques and tactics are used. It is expected that the TNPSC Group 2 Exam will feature two tiers of examinations: a preliminary examination and the main examination.

Those who pass the Preliminary exam are entitled to take the Main exam as well. For this position, only candidates who passed the Main exam are considered. The Preliminary exam's current events component is critical. There is a section of the test devoted to current events and concerns, and you should expect a substantial number of questions from this section alone. Memory tricks and appropriate practise are all that is needed to master current events and issues.

Newspapers that are published every day
There's no need to stress about staying up to date on current events if you're skilled at reading newspapers. From the perspective of a test, the newspaper covers a wide range of topics. Learn as much as you can about the world's past and present by taking notes while reading newspapers. If you read the newspaper every day, you won't miss out on any current events. You should only rely on the best newspapers, such The Hindu, the Indian Express, etc.

Read Magazines on a Constant Basis
Weekly and monthly periodicals like Kurukshethra, Yojana, Frontline, The Week, etc. are available both online and offline, providing readers with a wealth of information. These publications are a compilation of the general knowledge and current events of a given time period. When studying for examinations, it's important to be picky about the magazines you read. Instead of reading everything you can get your hands on, turn to the publications listed above for inspiration.

Make the most of online education.
E-learning apps are another option to stay up to date on the latest news and developments in the world of politics and current events. For the TNPSC Group 2 tests, you can use apps like Entri to get all the information you need. All of the latest news, exam updates, and announcements may be found here. On top of that, the Entri app's online platform includes current events and vocabulary, weekly quizzes, Mock tests, and practise tests.

Seek Professional Advice
No matter how thoroughly you study and prepare for exams, you may still want the assistance of professionals or trainers to aid you with memory shortcuts and other issues such as test preparation motivation and confidence.
When you lack motivation and self-confidence, you can seek the assistance of a professional who can guide you through the difficulties you face and provide you with the necessary advice and strategies to overcome them.

Keep a note to yourself.
Even if you're using an online or offline source to learn about current events, you should still take notes of your own. From the very beginning of your preparations, it is a good idea to keep a personal record of current events. Keep it up-to-date every time you learn something new. It is possible to protect your data using Google documents, OneNote, etc.

Take a look at the previous year's exam questions.
Take a look at prior year's questions and see if you can answer them. For exam preparation, take mock examinations to become used to multiple-choice questions. Do not only focus on the correct answers when going over previous year question papers, but also look at other answer options and get all relevant information about each of them. Because it could be useful for your exam.

Remember that each exam has its own level of difficulty and pacing. When you know the difficulty and pace of an exam, you'll be able to remain cool and pass the test more easily.
